Oren Beit-Arie, Chief Strategy Officer, oversees the continuing development and promotion of ProQuest’s long-term enterprise strategy. Mr. Beit-Arie has vast experience in operations, product management and strategy. He is one of the primary developers of the ANSI/NISO Z39.88 (OpenURL) standard and has led the development of SFX link-resolver and a range of other solutions in the realm of electronic scholarly resources, including bX, a usage-based article recommender. Previously at Ex Libris, Oren focused on strategic developments and new product initiatives including the Primo discovery solution; Alma, the cloud-based unified resources management solution; and Esploro, the newly developed research services platform. Mr. Beit-Arie earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from The Hebrew University and a master of theoretical linguistics from Tel Aviv University.
