David Tyckoson is a librarian at the Henry Madden Library at California State University, Fresno. He is first and foremost a reference librarian and has written and presented extensively on reference service and reference collections. He teaches RUSA’s online class on the Reference Interview and also has taught an online course through Infopeople on Rethinking Reference Collections. David won the Mudge Award for distinguished contributions to reference librarianship in 2005 and served as President of RUSA in 2007-2008.
