Corey Seeman is the Director of Kresge Library Services of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. The unit has recently undergone a great transformation from a traditional library to an electronic-only library service group with the completion of the Ross Construction project in 2016. Corey has been director since October 2006 and previously worked as the Associate Dean for Resource and Systems Management at the University of Toledo (Ohio) (May 2001 to November 2005); Library Training Consultant, Innovative Interfaces, Inc. (January 1999 to April 2001); and Manager of Technical Services, National Baseball Library at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. in Cooperstown (November 1996 to November 1998). He has a M.A.L.S. (1992) from Dominican University and an A.B. (1986) from the University of Chicago (with a major in European History). He has written articles primarily in the areas such as library systems, cataloging (especially in the context of special library collections) and on collection development issues associated with autism. He will be focusing his writing on change management in the library and service issues associated with academic libraries, especially in the area of hospitality. I am passionate about library service, and see this as a way that we can remain a critical part of the educational and research function in a world that is increasingly self-serve. On a lighter note - I have a cooking blog (http://mblog.lib.umich.edu/coreyrecipes/) and a somewhat over-the-top obsession with squirrels and cats (that you can see via my flickr photos - http://www.flickr.com/photos/cseeman/)
